The Black Loch – UK Tour

I will be in the UK in September 2024 for the launch of my new book – The Black Loch – the follow up to The Lewis Trilogy. There will be television, radio and newspaper interviews, but if you want to meet me in person I will be coming to Bath, Stirling (Bloody Scotland Festival), Glasgow, Perth, Inverness, Stornoway, and Edinburgh. Hope to see you at one of these locations!

A MURDER
The body of eighteen-year-old TV personality Kathleen is found abandoned on a remote beach at the head of An Loch Dubh – the Black Loch – on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis. A swimmer and canoeist, it is inconceivable that she could have drowned.

A SECRET
Fin Macleod left the island ten years earlier to escape its memories. When he learns that his married son Fionnlagh had been having a clandestine affair with the dead girl and is suspected of her murder, he and Marsaili return to try and clear his name.

A TRAP
But nothing is as it seems, and the truth of the murder lies in a past that Fin would rather forget, and a tragedy at the cages of a salmon farm on East Loch Roag, where the tense climax of the story finds its resolution.

Hello, I’ve just read The Black Loch in one sitting, today, and really enjoyed it, as I have all your other books. So disappointed I just saw you were being interviewed in Edinburgh last night.
I’m sure this will have been spotted, but just in case not, I wanted to let you know that there is a typo in the back cover – a missing ‘D’ in ‘Landscape’. Sorry – former editor.

Please could you tell me in which book a young orphan is sent by church authoritoes from Glasgow to Lewis.
